Business Development Manager (Travel Vertical)

The Business Development Manager (Travel Vertical) will lead the growth of N3’s travel ecosystem by acquiring, co-developing, and scaling travel experiences that are effortlessly unique, emotionally compelling, environmentally sustainable, easily accessible and operationally seamless.This role demands a commercially driven leader who can balance product curation, product creation, revenue accountability, and cross-functional coordination with a forward-thinking, customer-centric mindset.

This is not a traditional procurement role — it is a role for a strategist, creator, and closer.You will shape N3’s travel product landscape, inspire internal stakeholders, and form strategic partnerships that turn local stories into global experiences.


Strategic Pillars

• Experience-Led Product Strategy – Translate consumer aspirations into high-margin travel experiences.• Emotional & Commercial Design – Package and negotiate offerings that are both inspiring and financially sound.• Cross-Functional Leadership – Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Technology to ensure frictionless delivery.• Innovation & Sustainability – Curate and create offerings that are unique, repeatable, and aligned with long-term destination health.• Revenue & KPI Accountability – Own vertical P&L and lead pricing/promotion models that support growth.


Key Responsibilities & Scope

  1. Lead the identification and co-creation of destination experiences aligned with market trends and consumer demand, and company’s brand values — including sustainable travel, culturally immersive experiences, and offerings that support a low-carbon economy.

  2. Negotiate partner terms, achieve margin goals, and own BD-driven revenue outcomes for travel vertical.

  3. Guide and develop a lean BD team toward a culture of ownership, innovation, and cross-departmental synergy.

  4. Work closely with Ops to ensure delivery, redemption, and merchant onboarding meets service-level targets.

  5. Integrate KPIs related to accessibility, uniqueness, and cultural preservation into product evaluation.

  6. Champion end-to-end digital experience excellence—own the interface between booking journeys, API integrations, and backend fulfilment. Partner with Tech and Product to ensure seamless, intuitive, and scalable user experiences for both customers and internal teams.


Must- Have Experience

  • 5+ years in business development, travel procurement, or experience curation

  •  Strong understanding of global travel trends and customer behaviour 

  • Proven ability to build partnerships and negotiate commercial terms 

  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in pricing — including supplier negotiations, margin management, and value-based pricing strategies 

  • Skilled at product ideation, creation, curation and GTM strategies

  • Experience leading teams, launching initiatives, and coordinating across departments 

  • Familiarity with digital travel booking systems, APIs, or OTA platforms is an advantage
